'Steve McCartney was born in Greenock, Scotland and now lives in
Preston. His main influences are listed as Led Zeppelin, The
Beatles, Niel Young, Simon and Garfunkel and Eric Clapton to name a
select few. He can be seen performing live with bassist Simon Wright
as 'Stone's Throw' at many of the open mic nights in the Preston
area. They perform acoustic rythm and blues covers as well as some
